Consequences are the good and bad things that happen when we make a decision.
The risk is the chance of the bad things happening.
Even when an option has a risk, we might choose it anyway.
How to manage risks
Everyone takes risks and this is ok.
When you make a decision it is important to think about the risks and the possible consequences of taking these risks.
First, find out what the risk is.
To manage the risk you can think of ways to make the risk smaller or less likely to happen.
This is called using safeguards.
After thinking about the risk and the safeguards only you can decide if the risk is worth taking.
You should always try your best to make a decision that keeps you as safe as possible.
